Echoing the sculptural perimeter geometry of Kjeldtoft's celebrated MK 11 dining table, Bakke 01 elevates the everyday tray into functional sculpture. Hand-carved from solid European white ashwood offcuts, its shallow concave recess and soft beveled borders celebrate the organic flow of the tree's growth rings. Perfectly proportioned for fruit, artisanal sourdough, or decanter presentation.
Key Craft Highlights:
- Sculptural curved contour borrowed directly from master cabinetmaker dining table prototypes
- Hand-carved from seasoned European ash with striking Blonde and cream grain character
- Dished perimeter prevents olive oil drips or small fruits from rolling over
- Food-safe plant oil finish allows direct contact with fruits, breads, and cheeses
- Seamless smooth base with discreet felt counter-protectors
